Hi, I'm Giovana Brandão — a personal chef based in Pembroke, Massachusetts, and the heart behind Giovana's Bistro.

Cooking has always been central to my family. My mother ran her own restaurant, and watching her create magic in the kitchen — making people smile with every bite — I knew I wanted to do the same. I started my culinary journey cooking for my own family, finding joy in every meal. But I wanted to take it further and really hone my craft.

With a lot of determination and a busy life to juggle, I enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu and graduated in 2009. It was an incredible experience, learning from some of the most talented chefs in the world. But even with all that professional training, I never forgot my roots.

That's why I decided to blend the comfort food and flavors I grew up with together with the refined techniques I learned at school — creating a dining experience that feels both elevated and deeply personal. My goal has always been to bring the restaurant experience into your home, crafting intimate, memorable events where you can enjoy delicious food without lifting a finger.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of cooking for some wonderful clients, building lasting relationships and creating meals that make their occasions truly special. Every menu is designed just for you, because I believe your event should be as personal and enjoyable as the food itself.
